Don't flush your 💲 away! Get professional septic installation and repair.

Septic systems are small scale sewage treatment systems common in areas with no connecting to sewage pipes provided by a city or town. They generally consist of a tank that is connected to an inlet pipe on one end and a septic drain field on the other.

If a septic system is not maintained or kept using good habits, repairs may be necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How can I know where my septic system is located?

In your basement, all your drainage plumbing is likely leading to a large cast iron or plastic pipe that goes through your foundation. That pipe likely leads to where your septic tank is buried.

  • How often should I get my septic tank inspected?

You should have your septic tank inspected and pumped every 3 to 5 years. If you have a large family or host events often, then you should consider having it inspected more often.

  • How long do septic systems last?

Some septic systems can last up to 25 years and sometimes longer in some cases. The life of a septic system depends on the maintenance and care of the system. With regular inspections and repairs, you can extend the life of a concrete septic tank for several decades.

  • Can I use liquid fabric softener with a septic system?

Some fabric softeners have ingredients that can kill off the beneficial bacteria in the septic tank. You may want to read your fabric softener ingredients and then contact us if you have any questions.
